Swindle, speaking after Tobin's 2006 conviction for the murder of Kluk, said that Tobin's age and the method of the murder sparked speculation that he may be a serial killer, as did interviews with Tobin. Anagram led to the discovery of the bodies of Hamilton and McNicol. It is believed that as of December 2009[update], detectives across the UK were following up on up to 1,400 lines of inquiry.[1] As part of their renewed inquiries, police were especially interested in tracing the owners of jewellery items found at his residences.[41] In 2009, police released photographs of the thirty-two pieces of jewellery that they found which were in Tobin's possession between 1991 and 2006 which authorities believed to be mementos Tobin collected during his criminal career. In July 2010, it was reported that officers working on Operation Anagram had narrowed their review down to nine unsolved murders and disappearances.[42] The operation was wound down in June 2011, having failed to identify any more victims.[43]
Tobin's convictions led to speculation in the late 2000s that he was Bible John, a serial killer who murdered three young women in Glasgow in the 1960s - Patricia Docker, 25, Jemima McDonald, 32, and Helen Puttock, 29.[75] It had been alleged that Tobin reacted violently to his victims' menstruation, something which has long been suspected as the motive behind the Bible John murders.[76]
The infamous Scottish serial killer has been convicted of murdering three women and is currently serving a life sentence in an Edinburgh prison. But investigators believe he may be responsible for many more murders.
Peter Manuel was an icy-eyed psychopath and sexual predator, a petty thief and a relentless liar given to violent and uncontrollable rages. His unprecedented crimes presented the Scottish police and public with a new sort of criminal: the ruthless serial killer.
The Danish submarine murder, as it has become known, was dramatised in the series , but in line with the philosophy of the victims\\\\u2019 rights movement, the killer was never named. Into The Deep is the polar opposite. It is very much a portrait of , from the unique position of people who lived in his orbit, failed to see what he was, and have had to wrestle with that reality in the wake of his true nature being revealed.
Some psychopathic serial killers start young (in their teens), while others wait until their adulthood. What is clear is that the signs of psychopathy, such as lack of remorse, lack of empathy, pervasive lying, lack of regards towards others and other symptoms are there by age 15.

After Peter escaped from prison, he decided to continue his experiments, changing his victimology to people who suffered from dissociative identity disorder (DID). At some point, Peter managed to abduct Daniel Cullen, a.k.a. \"The Crimson King\", an \"injustice collector\"-type serial killer who was another escapee. He also relocated to Tempe, Arizona (Cullen's old hunting ground), where he attended a support group in Arizona State University under Reid's name. As there seem to be no accounts that claim Niers was fake, and because his victim count appears legitimate, this medieval boogeyman could very well be considered one of the most prolific serial killers of all time.
Pete Daily, also known as the Whisper Killer, was a journalist and serial killer, who served as a minor antagonist in Season 5. He was in a brief relationship with Ella Lopez which she thought was serious but he used as a way to keep track of the police investigation of his crimes. Ella eventually discovers his secret and he is arrested.
Opening Pete's door with the key he gave her, she retrieved the files, but a slip of paper fell and stuck to an outlet where air was being drawn through. She unscrewed the plate and discovered a concealed room in which Pete was apparently growing the killer's signature Stargazer Lilies and mixing the paralytic agent he used to inject his victims. Horrified, Ella deduced that Pete was the real serial killer. She tried to restore everything so he would not notice she had discovered his secret, but when he arrived soon after, he noticed that Ella had opened the outlet and discovered his secret room. He then attacked her, saying that he had hoped she was different, then tried to strangle her. Ella struggled, and stabbed him in the back with one of his own paralytic syringes.
The trailer for \"The Devil's Hour\" has an appropriately televisual quality to it; it almost looks like a spin-off of the U.K. version of that Netflix anthology series, \"Criminal,\" with a bit of timey wimey nonsense thrown in. I have to admit, I'm a little disappointed that Peter Capaldi appears to be playing a garden-variety time-traveling fortune teller and serial killer (or something) and not the actual devil. I feel like I was promised the devil, and all I got was clocks, wristwatches, and dramatic music ... but maybe the twist is that the devil is obsessed with time like Christopher Nolan. I'm just spitballing here (and probably doing it badly).
Peter Capaldi (Gideon) and Jessica Raine (Lucy) star in The Devil's Hour, a gripping psychological thriller where Lucy's nightmares draw her into a hunt for a serial killer in a world where nothing is as it seems. Watch The Devil's Hour ... coming October 28 to Prime Video.
Peter Lewis, a.k.a. \"Mr. Scratch\" or simply \"Scratch\", was a serial killer by proxy, hacker, and stalker who first appeared in Season Ten of Criminal Minds. He later escaped along with twelve other serial killers in Season Eleven and targeted the BAU throughout Season Twelve before his death in Season Thirteen.
In the episode, Hotch is arrested for conspiracy. During his interrogation, Hotch is shown a recording of Lewis explaining, to a federal interrogator, Hotch's experience while being drugged. According to Lewis, Hotch started to laugh while hallucinating his entire team getting killed (in reality, Hotch laughed after piecing together that Lewis was forced to testify against his own father), and he goes on to claim that he became scared of what Hotch could do to his team and even his own son. According to federal interrogator Timothy Ritchie, this interrogation prompted the U.S. Department of Justice to conduct an independent investigation into Hotch's recent leadership abilities. After the team closes the case and proves Hotch's innocence, they receive word that prison breaks occurred in three different states: thirteen serial killers managed to escape in the chaos and Lewis is one of them. It turns out that he had been involved with the people who framed Hotch, and that his testimony against Hotch was part of his escape plan.
After Lewis escaped from prison, he decided to continue his experiments, changing his victimology to people who suffered from dissociative identity disorder (DID).
